First Look At Official Ghostbusters Give Back Initiative Patches!

This past Ghostbusters Day, Ghost Corps announced, with the aid of Jason Reitman, Carrie Coon, and McKenna Grace, that they would be partnering with the Starlight Foundation for the Ghostbusters Give Back Initiative! Ghostbusters Give Back is a year long initiative supported by Sony Pictures that encourages Ghostbusters fan groups to fundraise for local causes. The initiative supports community philanthropy through a special fundraising competition, with Sony Pictures matching donations up to $150,000 to the Starlight Children's Foundation.

Meanwhile, many fan groups across the country already strap on their proton packs, and put their boots to the ground year round! Channeling their love of the franchise to bring attention to causes much larger than themselves. The initiative serves as a fantastic bridge between Sony Pictures and the fans, while also benefiting an incredible cause, and having fun earning some small accolades along the way! Several Ghostbusters groups have even already met the first major milestones for the year! As such, Ghost Corps has begun sending out the first wave of official service Give Back patches to commemorate teams who have reached the first 1k raised!

Following the first wave are bronze (10k), silver (25k), and gold (50k) patches. The top performing team each year will be awarded a commemorative trophy at Ghostbusters Day, highlighting their supernaturally spectacular efforts!

The fans have more than proven that dawning a pack doesn't just mean putting on a costume, but that bustin' means doing good! With a little over seven months until Ghostbusters Day, teams have already come together to raise 168,000+ of this year's 250,000 goal.
