Ghostbusters GPS Add On Leaving Waze This Month

Fans who regularly use the GPS app, Waze, were notified this week that the popular Ghostbusters add on would be ending its run at the end of August. The Ghostbusters feature was added to the Waze app in 2021, allowing users to customize their car icon into the iconic Ecto-1, with travel directions given by none other than Dan Aykroyd as Ray Stantz! This past year the app updated their car skin to be a little more accurate, reflecting what's seen in the films, as a cross promotion for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.
