Kenner Real Ghostbusters Episode Confirmed For The Toys That Made Us Season 5!

The Nacelle Company couldn't stay away long from their Netflix series, The Toys That Made Us! The series follows the people behind sole or history's most iconic toy lines, and discusses the rise and sometimes fall of their creations! The team announced at this year's SDCC that the show would be returning for not just a fourth, but a fifth season! Following it up with an appearance at today's kick off of NYCC, the team went on to talk about the upcoming seasons and some of the properties to be featured - including, The Real Ghostbusters! While the Kenner Ghostbusters like HAS been discussed on the show previously, the team confirms that The Real Ghostbusters will have an entire episode dedicated to the superstars of the supernatural in season 5!

The Real Ghostbusters line at Kenner has had more than its fair share of battles and hurdles. "Find the lawyers, because they know what happened at every company," said Volk-Weiss, founder of the Nacelle Company. He went on to express his excitement for that particular episode, "Don't threaten me with a good time," stating that the Kenner Real Ghostbusters episode will feature several items from his personal collection. While it's expected the episode will primarily feature the extensive Real Ghostbusters Kenner line, it's likely we'll see a thorough rundown of some of the other main stream and obscure Ghostbusters toy collectibles that have popped up over the last 40 years. Fans can expect to find some supernaturally spectacular Ghostbusters goodness in episode 6 of the season, although there's still no official release date for the Netflix series.
